Arrive in Veracruz

To begin your adventure, we recommend flying into Veracruz International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Heriberto Jara, VER). Choose between renting a car for personal freedom or enjoying a comfortable ride on an air-conditioned travel coach with ADO or Autobuses Unidos, both offering frequent services to your Xalapa hotel. Journey to Xalapa: A Scenic Route

Embark on a picturesque drive to Xalapa along Highway 140, where the rural landscape unfolds before you. As you traverse this route, you'll pass by lush coffee plantations, sprawling sugar cane fields, and an array of diverse crops. You could very well have eaten food from these very fields! There are two toll stops along the way (take note if you are driving an SUV rental) and a quaint roadside market, offering a glimpse into local life and produce.

Welcome to Your Home Away from Home

Upon arrival at our hotel, you will be escorted to your room to unwind and settle in. Enjoy a tour of the hotel's serene grounds with a cup of locally sourced coffee, made from beans harvested on the property. As the day progresses, take your time to relax by the pool, savor a refreshing drink, or mingle with fellow travelers. If you prefer, a nap is always an option!

Our journey together begins with a delightful dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, setting the stage for a friendly meet and greet. This will be followed by a detailed presentation of the week’s adventures, covering the nature and intensity of our planned hikes and outlining optional activities for those seeking a lighter pace.
